<h1>Geraldine Rutherford</h1> 1917 – 2006 Geraldine died peacefully at the Village of Winston Park, Kitchener on Thursday, September 7, 2006 at the age of 89. Geraldine was born in Port Hope, and was raised in the farming community until she married and moved to the K-W area. Geraldine was a committed worker for both General Instruments and Tawco Drycleaners of Stanly Park. Sadly missed by her daughter Ivena and husband Michael Davis of Kitchener, and her son Ross and his wife Terry of Calgary, Alberta. Proud grandmother of Scott (Marion) Davis, Shawn (Jackie) Davis, Stuart (Serena) Davis, Susan (David) Wheeler, Nicole, Blaine and Gregory Rutherford as well as 11 great-grandchildren. Survived by her sister Olive Cearly of Parksville British Columbia. Predeceased by her husband Ralph (1994), her sister Isabel Gordon and brother Herb Pearce. Friends are invited to share their memories of Geraldine with her family at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Saturday September 9, from 2 to 4 p.m. and Sunday September 10 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The service to celebrate Geraldine’s life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday September 11 at 1 pm. Captain Lucy Graves officiating. Following the service, friends and relatives are invited to the funeral home’s Fireside Reception Room for refreshments and a time to visit with the family. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens, Breslau.
