<h1>Dr. Helmut Meyer</h1> 1919 – 2006 Dr. Helmut Heinrich Meyer was a general practitioner in Germany. He emmigrated to Canada in 1973 to continue his practice in Ontario. He died suddenly in Germany on Oct. 8, 2006 at the age of 87, while visiting relatives. Helmut is predeceased since 1997 by his wife Dr. Bernharda Meyer and two sisters. He is survived by his sisters-in-law Friedl te Laak and Stephanie Derksen, niece Renate Dudek (Dieter), nephew Dr. Lambert Timphus (Katherina), Ingrid Krokowski (Norbert) and their families. Helmut will be sadly missed by his friends Betty and Ray Nova, Arlene and Jim Fedy, Jack and Monica Sullivan, Sue and Dennis Kuepfer and their extended families. He will also be missed by the staff and residents of the Marian Residence Retirement Home, Cambridge where Helmut resided for the past few years. Friends are invited to share their memories of Helmut during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Monday, October 16, 2006 from 7-9 pm. A Requiem Mass in the Traditional Latin Rite will be celebrated at St. Anne’s RC Church, 268 East Ave., Kitchener on Tuesday, October 17 at 11:00 am by Rev. Howard Venette F.S.S.P. Interment to follow in Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo. Prayers for the repose of Helmut’s immortal soul will be most appreciated.
