<h1>Barbara Pope</h1> 1932 – 2006 Beloved wife of Ron Pope, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, November 5, 2006 at the age of 74 years. Barb was the first female insurance broker in Waterloo region as she was employed with Staebler Insurance for over 25 years and volunteered for the Heart and Stroke Association for many years even recently throughout her illness. She was an avid golfer and member at Rockway Golf Club and enjoyed playing bridge. Ron and Barb have been faithful parishioners of St. Andrew’s Anglican Church for many years and until recently, Barb was the editor of the church newsletter. Besides her beloved husband Ron, Barb is survived by her sons, Robert (Jacki), Lloyd (Tracey), Mark (Julie), grandchildren, Brandon (Kayla), David, Cassandra, Alex, and Seaera, Alexander, and Tempest as well as her great-granddaughter Paige. She is also survived by a loving daughter-in-law Sharon (Martin) and her sister Barbara (Joe) in California as well as other extended relatives. Predeceased by her parents and her two brothers Earl and Jack. Friends are invited to share their memories of Barbara during visitation with her family at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Tuesday, November 7, 2006 from 7-9 pm and Wednesday, November 8 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, 275 Mill Street, Kitchener on Thursday, November 9 at 11:00 am with the Rev. Robert Towler and Rev. Harry Janke officiating. Interment will follow at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo Condolences for the family and donations to St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, the Heart and Stroke Association of Ontario and the Canadian Diabetes Association may be arranged through the funeral home, 519.745.8445 or www.erbgood.com. In living memory of Barbara, a tree will be planted through the Trees for Learning program by the funeral home.
