<h1>Charles "Chas" Stoesser</h1> 1915 - 2007 Passed away peacefully at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Thursday January 4, 2007. Chas was in his 92nd year. Chas was the husband and best friend of Rita (nee Weiler) for over 60 years. Beloved father of Philip and his wife Lynda . Cherished grandpa of Natasha and her fiancé Simon, Tristyn and Ashleigh and their partners Mike and Ryan. He will be missed by his godchildren, many nieces and nephews, family, and friends. Chas was predeceased by his parents Charles and Agatha. Also predeceased by his brothers and sisters: Otto, Edward, Pauline, Hubert, Agatha, and Alex. Prior to his retirement, Chas enjoyed a 35 year career with Labatt’s Brewery. He also enjoyed fishing, woodworking and fussing over his granddaughters. Friends are invited to share their memories of Chas with his family at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Sunday January 7, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where Parish Prayers will be held at 8:45 p.m. A morning prayer service will be held in the funeral home on Monday January 8, 2007 at 9:45 a.m., followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Lourdes RC. Church, 173 Lourdes Street West, Waterloo at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Edward Sheridan as celebrant. Interment to follow in Parkview Cemetery.
