<h1>Gordon Scorfield</h1> 1912 – 2007 Passed away peacefully at the KW Health Centre of the Grand River Hospital, on Tuesday, January 2, 2007, at the age of 94 years. Gordon was predeceased by his beloved wife Stephanie Scorfield in 1986. Loving father of Gloria and her husband Paul Kelly of Kitchener, Mark and is wife Judy of Kitchener and Brent and his wife Donna of Edmonton. Proud and loving poppa and grandpa of Craig (Paula) Smith, Brett (Bobbi) Smith, Ian (Melissa Brook) Smith, Adam Smith, Lauren and Myles Scorfield and great-poppa of Jolie, Sophia, Ethan and Owen Smith. Gordon is also survived by his sister-in-law Gertrude Slumkofske. Predeceased by his parents Bessie and Emil Slumkofske, sister Laura Slumkofske and Lawrence Slumkofske. Gordon owned and operated Black Top Paving in Kitchener, which he sold to Steed and Evans upon his retirement. Friends are invited to share their memories of Gordon with his family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo on Friday January 12, 2007 from 10 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Immediately following the service a reception will be held in the funeral home’s Fireside Reception Room with a private family interment to take place Friday afternoon at Woodland Cemetery.
