<h1>Kenneth Shaw</h1> 1917 – 2007 Passed away peacefully at Nithview Home, New Hamburg, formerly of Leamington, on Monday, February 12, 2007 at the age of 89 years. Ken graduated from OAC, University of Guelph 1939, served during the Second World War with the R.C.A.F. and retired from the H.J. Heinz Company after 35 years of service. Ken is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years Maxine, his loving children, Jim (Kathy) Shaw of Milton , Bill Shaw (Sage McDonald) of Etobicoke, Linda Bird of Waterloo, and his cherished grandchildren, Jill (Devin Scarrow), Bryan, Mark, Craig, Blair, Jason and Lindsay. Ken was predeceased by his parents Douglas and Lauretta Shaw, and his sister Muriel Tupling. Friends are invited to celebrate Ken’s life with his family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Thursday, February 15, 2007 from 1 to 1:45 p.m. The funeral service will follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Peter Moffat of Parkminster United Church officiating. Cremation will follow and a private family interment will take place at St. James Cemetery, Lucan ON at a later date.
