<h1>Dorothy Bartole</h1> NEE: WIDMEYER 1919 – 2006 Passed away peacefully at Lisaard House, Cambridge, on Sunday, December 17, 2006 at the age of 87 years. Dorothy was retired from the accounts receivable department of the K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital. She was an active member of St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, the E.L.W., and volunteered in the church office for many years. Dorothy and her husband Joe enjoyed square dancing for years and she was also an avid bowler, bowling twice a week. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 2000. She is survived by her brother Wallace Widmeyer and his wife June, her close friend Carol Moore, as well as her many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her parents Englebert and Adeline (nee: Wagner) Widmeyer, brothers Wes, Stan and Crawford, and her sister Edna Hill. Friends are invited to share their memories of Dorothy during visitation with her family at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Wednesday, December 20, 2006 from 12:30 pm to 1:45 pm. The Funeral Service will follow the visitation in the chapel of the funeral home at 2:00 pm with Rev. Shirley Ruller officiating. Cremation will follow and a private family graveside service will take place at a later date. Special thanks are extended by the family to the nurses and all of the staff of Lisaard House for their compassion and care.
