<h1>Raymond Koenig</h1> 1930-2007 After a lengthy illness at Parkwood Mennonite Home, Ray passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2007, at age of 76. Beloved husband of Doreen (Kennedy); loving father of Patricia Koenig (Patrick Grieve) and Carole Hayes (Cecil); cherished grandfather of Daniel and Jennifer Hayes. Ray was predeceased by his first wife Lois (Holrod); his infant son Mark; parents Roy and Winnifred Koenig and his sister Ruth Koenig. Ray began the Physics Department at Wilfrid Laurier University (1963) and dedicated his life to teaching Physics and Astronomy. His passions were his family, his teaching and his faith. Friends are invited to share their memories of Ray with his family at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Monday from 6-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Ray’s life and faith will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, April 3, 2007, at 11 a.m. A reception will then be held in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home followed by interment at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
