Obituary of Ruth Beisel

Passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Columbia Forest Long Term Care, age 86. Ruth was born in Clifford on January 2, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Eva (Pomeroy) and John Field. Loving wife for 59 years of Mervin Beisel. Dear mother of Jane (Paul) MacDonald and Carol Beisel. Sister of Marjorie Klinck and Claude Field. Predeceased by a sister Dorothy Wicke and brothers Ken and Russell Field. Ruth enjoyed bowling, bridge and baseball, especially the Toronto Blue Jays. Ruth was a lifelong learner. She was a Registered Nurse, Nurse Educator and completed her Bachelor of Arts when she was 66. She was selfless, loving and an inspiration to her family and many friends. Friends and relatives are invited to share their memories of Ruth during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, November 24, 2016 from 5-8 pm. The Memorial Service to celebrate her life will take place at 2pm on Friday, November 25, 2016 at Parkminster United Church, 275 Erb St. E., Waterloo with Rev. Meg Grieve officiating. Cremation has taken place and interment at a later date in the Clifford Cemetery.
