Obituary of William Lloyd Elsdon

ELSDON, William Lloyd Passed away peacefully in hospital on Monday, December 5, 2016 in his 96th year. Beloved husband for 48 years of the late Faye (1998). Loving father of Anne(Tim Servos), Greg (Janine Brennan), Tom (Mary Dagenais) and Kristin (Jeff McCuaig); proud and much loved grandfather of Catherine, Fraser, Brett and Cameron Elsdon; Sarah, Steven and Laura McCuaig; Kyra and Kelsie Brennan and great-grandfather of Rosalyn; dear brother of John. Predeceased by sister Ruth Holmes. Bill served overseas with the Essex Scottish Regiment during World War II. After the war he earned his PhD and then began a long teaching career in Chemistry at the University of Waterloo. Visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Saturday, December 10 from 11a.m. until 1 p.m. with memorial tributes at noon, at the Funeral Home.
