Obituary of Mamoru Sugimoto

Sugi passed away with family by his side at the K-W Campus of Grand River Hospital on Monday, February 27, 2017 at the age of 85.

Sugi is survived by his loving wife, Wendy Hilborn; daughter, Alana Steward (Jim); son, Akira Sugimoto (Joanne); step-daughter, Micheline Courtemanche (Brad); step-son, Richard Courtemanche (Lucy); 12 grandchildren; and sister, Tomiko Sugimoto. He will be dearly missed by all.

Predeceased by his parents and eight brothers and sisters.

A memorial gathering will be held in the chapel of the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 1:00 p.m.  A reception will immediately follow in the funeral home's Fireside Room.
