Obituary of Elsie Dumas
1927 – 2017
Passed away peacefully at The Village at University Gates, Waterloo on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, in her 90th year.
Dear Mother of Paul (Susan) and Pauline (Tom) Clayfield. Cherished grand-mother of Pamela, Doug (Tricia) and Timothy (Andria). Will be lovingly remembered by her great-grandchildren Samantha, Colten, Addisen, Illyria, Quorra, Inara and Savannah; also Doug Martin and his wife Marg.
Predeceased by her parents Hilda and Roy Turel; brothers Lincoln and Clifford and sister-in-law Jean, and grandson Thomas Clayfield.
Elsie was a life-time member of Emmanuel United Church, where she was active in Sunday school, groups for children, the choir and the UCW. She was a dedicated employee for 46 years with John Forsyth Shirt Co.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Elsie with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, March 31, 2017 from 7 – 9 p.m. and Saturday April 1, 2017 from 1 – 2:45 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 3 p.m.
