Obituary of Iva Edith Fletcher

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Freeport Hospital, at age 89. Beloved wife of the late Maurice Fletcher. Loved mother of Brenda and the late John Savage, Paul and Don. Cherished grandmother of Kristy (Jason) Kemp, Ian (Catherine Rocha), Michael, Jessica (Matthew) Bowman, Erin, and Meghan and great-grandmother of Mason, Avery, Belle, Sophia and Evelyn. Dear sister of Inez Byers-Morehouse (Gerry) and sister-in-law of Marion Hoath. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Emma Hoath, by sisters, Gertrude Shaw and her husband James, Julia Baker and her husband Claren, Eva Schwalm and her husband Mansell, Elma Pilkey and her husband Bill, and by her brother Lloyd. Iva retired from Dare Foods after many years of service. Friends are invited to share their memories of Iva with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, April 7 from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 11 a.m. A reception will follow in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home. Interment near Lion’s Head at a later date.
