Passed away on April 28, 2017 at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital at the age of 84 years. Loving wife of the late Cecil Hayes. Dear mother of Bob Hayes and his wife Shirley of Waterloo and Paul Hayes and his wife Lori of St. Jacobs. Loving Grandmother of Aimee, Stephanie, Jeff ( Crystal ) and Tom and Great Grandmother of Paige, Ben and Owen. Evelyn is survived by her sister Jean McDonald of Waterloo. Predeceased by her parents. Walter and Sadie McDonald. Evelyn was a longtime member of Knox Presbyterian Church in Waterloo.Friends are invited to share their memories of Evelyn with her family during memorial visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Tuesday May 2, 2017 from 1-2 p.m. A Memorial Service will take place at 2 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel.
