Tadeusz Krysciak

Obituary of Tadeusz Krysciak

“Don’t worry. Be happy.” Favourite words from an amazing dad. In his early days, Ted’s family survived seven years in a WWII labour camp. After re-attending school, Ted earned a master’s degree in photography and it was there that he met a young art student, Suzanna. Legend has it that he planned his wedding after just one dance. This June would’ve marked their 62nd wedding anniversary. The young couple took time to explore their homeland from the vantage of a motorcycle before launching a partnership in the photography business. In 1965, Canada called, and with three kids in tow, the young family emigrated from Poland and finally settled in Waterloo.

In his own words, he called it “A perfect life”, and on May 4, 2017, Ted departed on his next adventure. He was 88 years young. Tadeusz will be greatly missed by wife Suzanna and kids Mark, Wally and Andrzej. His late daughter Lydia will be most pleased to welcome him home. Grandkids Andrew, Tristan, Sarah, Emily, Christopher, Aaron, Paul, Aiden, Avery and Malcolm will miss their “Dziadzia” the most. Daughters-in-law Darquise, Allison and Debbie will always remember Ted as a loving second dad.

Friends are invited to share their memories of Ted with his family during a memorial visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Monday May 15, 2017 from 1:00-1:45 p.m., with a celebration of life to be held at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.
