Obituary of Ursula Hannelore Meinzer

Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday May 10, 2017 at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, at the age of 74.

Survived by her common-law spouse Steve Strome, sons Jorg (Diane) and Allan (Christine).

Predeceased by parents Otto and Elizabeth Jankowski and youngest son James.

Ursula was a long-time employee at J.M. Schneider until her retirement in 2007. She was a generous and loving mother who would do anything for her sons, family and friends. She was an avid reader, amazing cook and she loved and adored her two cats Remy and Carly.

Friends are invited to share their memories of Ursula with her family during memorial visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Tuesday May 16, 2017 from 10 – 10:45 a.m.  A Memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Reception to follow in the funeral home’s Fireside Reception Room.
