Judith Beliaeff

Obituary of Judith Helen Beliaeff

Died peacefully at the age of 75 at St Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener, surrounded by immediate family, after a short but courageous fight with some complex illnesses. Judith is survived by her much loved and loving daughter, Jennifer Leigh Beliaeff-Hulett, her son-in-law Devin Hulett, and grandson Trevor Leon Hulett, all of Kitchener.  Also survived by her former husband, John Leon Beliaeff, and her sister, Mary Deborah Stuart Dando. Born in Ormstown Quebec, Judith lived most of her life in her cherished “La Belle Province”, until just after she retired at age 65.  She was a graduate and alumnus of Bishop’s University in Sherbrooke, Que.  Judith had a long career as a data processing manager starting with IBM in Montreal, Luxo Lamp in Ste. Therese, Que. and retiring as an office manager at Walden Testing in Westmount, Que.  Judith moved to Kitchener to enjoy retirement near her daughter and family and her sister in Toronto.  Judith was an avid golfer, a regular attendee of the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony and an enthusiastic current events and history buff. She enjoyed a long association with the United Empire Loyalists’ Association of Canada, both in Montreal and Kitchener, as well as two branches of the Ontario Genealogical Association in Ontario.

A special thank you to the doctors and nursing staff of St Mary’s Hospital for their kind and attentive care of Judith.
