Obituary of Florence Sybilla Ruppel

Florence was born in Neustadt, Ontario on May 5, 1915.

She passed away peacefully at the age of 102, at the Village of Winston Park on August 22, 2017.

Lovingly remembered by her daughter Jerilynn Heer (Robert), and her grandchildren Michelle Maue (Mark) and Melanie Davis (Andrew). Florence is fondly remembered by her great grandchildren Mason Maue (Melanie), Taylor Russon (Shaun) and Matthew and Carson Davis. She also was blessed with a great great grandchild Dakota Maue.

Predeceased by her loving husband of 51 years Norman A. Ruppel in 1992. She was also predeceased by her parents Charlie & Sylvia Wiseman and brother Ward (Emily).

As a young girl Florence played the organ at her home church St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran in Neustadt Ontario. She enjoyed being a hairdresser for many years and always took pride in her appearance. Florence enjoyed retail sales with Budd's & Reitman's for many years.

Friends and relatives are invited to share their memories of Florence during visitation at St. John's Lutheran Church Chapel 22 Willow St., Waterloo on Friday, August 25, 2017 from 10-10:45 am followed by the funeral service at 11am, reception to follow.
