Obituary of Otto Urpecz

Otto Urpecz passed away peacefully in his home on September 5, 2017 surrounded by his family, in his 78th year.

Otto was predeceased by his mother Anna and his father Elek.

 "Papa" is survived by his loving wife Irene, his daughter Judith, her husband Thomas, and his two granddaughters Kaitlyn and Rebeka. Otto also has several sisters, brothers, and extended family in both Canada and Hungary.

Otto came to Canada in 1960 from Hungary and met his wife Irene in 1977. He spent his life working very hard to support his family and suffered the set back of a stroke in 2002. He loved his family and spending time with them in the outdoors.  Otto will be greatly missed by his family and they are relieved that he has finally found some peace.

Friends are invited to share their memories of Otto with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Saturday September 9, 2017 from 7 – 9 p.m. Visitation will continue on Sunday September 10th from 1 – 2 p.m. followed by a service at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.  Reception to follow in the fireside room of the funeral home.
