Obituary of Laura Mae Kieswetter
Laura went to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Monday October 23, 2017 at the age of 93.
Predeceased by her husband Lloyd Kieswetter in 2003. Beloved mother of Shirley (Dave) Ainsworth, Brian (Marilou) Kieswetter, Sandy (Randy) Hergott, and Garry Kieswetter, all of Kitchener. Loving Grandmother to Wendy (Clyde) Gaudette, Heather (Barry) Sullivan, Jennifer Kieswetter (Greg Grolle), Wesley Kieswetter and Melissa Hergott. Loving Oma to Zachariah, Josiah, Addison, Luke, Justin, Ryan, Teagan, Declan, Victoriah and Calisiah. Survived by sisters Sally Farquhar, Marieta (Ed) Eckert and brothers Willard Knischewsky and Leslie (Lucy) Knischewsky. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Louis and Emma (nee Oswald) Knischewsky, sisters Stella Kehl, Fran Gooding, Gladys Zettler, Jean Jankura, and brothers Lincoln Knischewsky and Milton Knischewsky.
Laura will be remembered as a kind and generous person. Laura’s family would like to thank the wonderful staff at the Westmount Long Term Care in Kitchener for the care and compassion that mom received during her stay.
Relatives and friends are invited to share memories of Laura during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S. Waterloo on Friday October 27, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday October 28, 2017 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Chris Padiath from Waterloo Pentecostal Assembly officiating. A reception will immediately follow the service in the funeral home’s Fireside Room. Interment will be made at St. Clement RC Cemetery, St. Clements following the reception.
