MacEACHERN, David Douglas

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David Douglas MacEachern.  Born June 24, 1942 and passed away peacefully October 26, 2017 at the age of 75 at Grand River Hospital Freeport Site after suffering a stroke July 4, 2017. Born and raised in Forest Hill, Toronto, on Castlefield Avenue. Son of Archibald Hugh MacEachern and Florence Ailean Sprung. Brother to John Donald MacEachern (Myrna), Lyla Mary Andrew (Ben), Janis Elspeth Maclean (Rod), Nancy Alison MacEachern.  Loving Husband of 52 years to Marilyn Christina MacEachern, nee Nattress.  Best Father Ever to Karen Lorraine Hodder, Gary Kenneth MacEachern (Deepa), Wayne Douglas MacEachern (Marie).  Proud Grandfather to Todd Andrew Hodder, Laura Lilly Hodder, Colin Douglas MacEachern, Andrew Akash MacEachern, Harrison Charles MacEachern. Brother in Law to Lois Lorraine Donnet, nee Nattress (Ross).  Awesome Uncle to Debra Skippari (Paul), Lloyd MacEachern (Leslie), Dan Donnet (Kelly), Kathy Bank (Steve), Elena Andrew, Jeremy Andrew (Jenny), Penute Andrew, Atshapi Andrew, Tyler Maclean, Lawson Maclean and great nephews.

David has chosen to donate his body for medical science and research and has been accepted to The University of Western Ontario in London.

Family will receive friends and family at The Erb & Good Family Funeral Home in Waterloo to celebrate his life on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 between 1-3 p.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Stroke and Rehabilitation Program at the Freeport Site of Grand River Hospital or the charity of your choice.
