Obituary of Robert William Hiller

Passed away peacefully at Hospice Wellington on Sunday, December 24, 2017 at the age of 81 years. Survived by his son Tim (Sonja) and grandchildren Lilli and James. He is also survived by his loving friend Elaine Seeley. Predeceased by his beloved wife Shirley, his parents Edward and Elmeda (nee Korell) Hiller and his brother William Arthur Hiller. Bob started as an accountant for Hostess and worked his way up to V.P. of Finance for Kraft-General Foods. Following a brief retirement, Bob went on to several Directorships and became V.P. of Campbell Soup and later served as a Board Member for Maple Leaf Foods. Bob loved woodworking, nature, birds and chipmunks and enjoyed extensive travel both for business and pleasure. Friends are invited to share their memories of Bob with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Sunday, December 31, 2017 from 11:00 am – 12:45 pm. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm in the chapel of the funeral home followed by a reception in the Fireside Reception Room. Interment will take place at Parkview Cemetery at a later date.
