Obituary of M. Jean Kleinknecht

Passed away with loving family by her side at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener on Friday January 12, 2018. Jean was born July 31, 1936 in Kitchener Ontario, the eldest of 6 siblings. 

 

Jean is survived by her loving husband Frank and her children Paul (Debbie), Terry (Jackie), Kathy (Bryan) and Lori.  She is also survived by her brothers and sisters Ken Dechert (Betty), Jim Dechert, Keith Dechert (Bea), Doug Dechert (Lynda), and Marilyn Flynn. 

 

Jean is also survived by eight grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jenifer, Christa, Trisha, Nikki,Tyler, Jeremy and Alyssa. Jean also had nine great-grandchildren.  

 

Jean was predeceased by her son Dan and his wife Kim, and her parents Edgar and Emma Dechert. 

 

Jean was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and daughter. Jean worked at Bell Canada as an operator and took on the full-time role of loving mother and caregiver to her daughter Lori.  

 

Jean was a long-time member of Calvary United Church, St Jacob's.

 

Friends are invited to share their memories of Jean with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Monday, January 15, 2018 from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. Visitation will continue at Calvary United Church, 48 Hawkesville Rd., St. Jacob's on Tuesday, January 16th, from 10 - 10:45 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. in the church sanctuary. Reception to follow in the church hall.  Interment to follow at Rush's Cemetery, Wellesley.
