Heather Coburn

Obituary of Heather Coburn

It is with a great deal of sadness that the family of Heather Coburn announces her sudden passing. Overwhelmed by a 30 year struggle with anorexia and depression, she chose to end her life. We take comfort knowing that she is now at peace. Heather is survived by her loving parents, Neil and Sue Coburn; her sisters, Sonja Miner (Ross) and Jannine Coburn (Paul Ewart) and their families; and special friend, Brian Baskett. Heather lived a full life in her 43 years. She was a C.A /C.P.A and tax specialist at Clarke Starke and Diegel, an honourary member at Westmount Golf Club because of her many tennis achievements, a Bridge Life Master, and avid golfer. Her book, "The Perfect Imperfect Me" shared her personal journey. Heather attended Waterloo Collegiate and graduated from the University of South Carolina on a tennis scholarship. Her vibrant personality will be missed by her many friends. A memorial service celebrating Heather's life will be held at a later date. Condolences for the family and donations to K-W Counselling or the charity of your choice may be arranged by contacting the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo at www.erbgood.com or 519-745-8445.
