i am one of Jerry's best friends from the Bennington Heights days. I'm very surprised & sad that Jerry passed away. I was hoping to have lunch or something & laugh about our days learning golf, hitchhiking to & terrorizing other players at Don Valley Golf course, playing ping pong endlessly in the Anglin basement, paying 5 cents to look at Tim's biceps, trying to get Judy's attention & generally carrying on. It was an upbringing like no other & so much fun.
Of course, Jerry was brilliant, especially in math. He would start studying at 3 am or so the night before the exam &when
i enquired as to his mark, it was invariably 98 or above. He was really amazing!
I kept track of Jerry from a distance all these years.I now wish I had done more. His career seems to have progressed beautifully which is certainly not surprising. I will never forget our years together -- I still remember many of our crazier escapades.
My sincere condolences to the family. Rest in peace old friend.
