Although I can’t be at the Memorial Service today, my thoughts and prayers are with Aunt Claire and your family.

Claire and Glen shared many of the same interests as those of my late husband Bill's and I for almost 30 years..... a United Empire Loyalist heritage, the Kitchener Waterloo Art Gallery, the Kitchener Waterloo Symphony Orchestra, the Men's and Women's Probus Clubs and, for many years, monthly dinner group gatherings. In my last telephone call with Claire, now a number of months ago, she still maintained her interest in local happenings, her family and definitely her sense of humor. ...it was obvious only her body was 96 years old. I offer my condolences to the family.....the difference Claire has made in your lives. and in that of others whom she touched, is a lasting legacy. my deepest sympathy , Veronica Kerr

I was fortunate to know of Claire's generosity, hospitality and grace twice in my life: through Parkminster and later through Waterloo Heights. Some how she always remembered who I was, although years would pass between our meetings. Some of our encounters involved her health but never once did she complain or grief. A beautiful woman inside and out who share her talents with many.

Claire was a wonderful member of the Volunteer Action Centre team. She had a calming and caring presence, and was competent in organizing and growing the organization. She was a pleasure to work with, and I extend sincere condolences to her family and friends. Thank you Christine for reconnecting us recently. We had a lovely chat.

I have many fond memories of Claire, Claire was a member of a small horticultural group that I started in the mid-late 90's. Claire and Glenn hosted our group at their summer cottage on the Bruce Peninsula. Hiking, garden tours, good food, and much laughter. Claire you will be missed, thank you for the moments that I will always remember and hold dearly. My sincere condolences to Claire's children, and grandchildren, sister's and friends. Claire, there will be other songs to sing, another Fall, another Spring, but there will never ever be another you. You will be missed.

On behalf of the Women' s Probus Club of Kitchener Westmount I send our sincere sympathy to Claire's family. Claire was a charter member of our organization and active until recently. She was a member of our Probus Book Club and notable for her inciteful comments on the books we read. She will be missed. Barbara Weiler, Probus Club of Kitchener Westmount , Care and Concern
