Today, I honor the life of a man who was more than just my uncle. He was a mentor, a guide, a source of wisdom and quiet strength and man whose humour was unmatched.
From a young age, I looked up to him—not just because he seemed to know so much, but because he lived with integrity and purpose. He taught by example, to work hard, to love deeply, to never stop learning, and to treat others with kindness and respect.
He had a way of seeing the best in people, even when they couldn’t see it in themselves. I am who I am today in large part because of him.
Though he may no longer be here in body, his presence is felt in every lesson he shared and in every value he instilled. I will carry his values forward not only by remembering him, but by living in a way that would make him proud,
When people say “ Bob’s your uncle” he was that and so much more…
Thank you, Uncle, for everything. You were a gift to this world. We wilI all miss you deeply and love you always.
