When our children were young, Diane and I were the best of friends. She was talented, happy, deeply caring, and loyal to those she loved. Diane, was one of a kind. She was a wonderful mother to Dustin and Desirae, and her devotion to them always showed. As our kids grew and as time passed, our lives and friendship went in different directions, but I will always remember Diane for the warmth, love, and joy she brought into that chapter of our lives.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Diane’s passing. I was one of the many lives she touched. Diane worked with me in my studio for a couple of years, where we became friends. I admired her intelligence, talent, and her kind, gentle nature. She put extraordinary love and care into her work, along with a rare sensibility—I learned a great deal from her. I always imagined we would catch up someday and have that next conversation. It is so very sad we didn’t get that chance. Diane was truly of rare quality. I have a piece in my home that Diane created while working in my studio. It is one of my most cherished possessions. I often point it out to friends and guests and tell them it was made by one of the most talented craftspeople I was fortunate to work with. Godspeed Diane - May your journey onward be gentle, and may you be carried in peace.

I'm so very sorry to hear about Di. She was a very dear and loyal friend for many years and was greatly missed after she moved from the Creemore area. My heart goes out to Dustin and Desirae and their families.
