My sincere condolences Brian, to you, and all the family.
I remember Carole well and fondly from her work with the Society when we introduced the Blue Umbrella project.
Carole showed great spirit and passion as an advocate for people living with dementia. She generously shared her dedication, knowledge and vulnerability with the world to educate people about living with dementia and to support those on their own dementia journeys.
I know she will be very much missed by those who knew and loved her. Perhaps the family can find comfort in knowing she opened the eyes of others as only one with lived experience can. She lives on in that, as well as in your hearts.
May you find calm and courage in the days to come.
