Bill was President of Groff Plumbing and Heating and also President of Waterloo-Wellington Plumbers Assoc., the Canadian Plumbing and Heating Assoc. of Ontario and on the Executive of the Mechanical Contractors of Canada.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling with his family and travelling, square dancing and cards with his wife and many friends. He treasured his time at Luther Village where he was an active participant in shuffleboard, bocce, puzzles and was on the Resident Advisory Board.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Papastergiou, Dr. Schaman and the many doctors, nurses and the Patient Experience Team at St. Mary's Hospital for their support and care.
