Passed away suddenly, at his home in Waterloo, on Monday, November 28, 2011, at the age of 81. Bruce is survived by his wife of 60 years, Joan (nee Cooper); son, Stephen Jones and his wife Catherine and their children, Elizabeth, Christine, Robert, and Jennifer; and son, Howard Jones and his wife Suzanne and their children, Gordon and Victoria. Bruce is also survived by his twin brother, Leonard and his wife Lee and brother, Kenneth and his wife Betty. Predeceased by his parents, Ernest and Edna Jones and brother, Douglas Jones and his wife Thelma. Bruce was born and raised in Montreal and attended McGill University. He excelled at football, hockey, wrestling, and golf and was a lifelong Montreal Canadiens fan. Bruce was always on the sidelines enthusiastically watching his grandchildren play sports. Cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, November 30 from 6-9 p.m. The memorial service will be held at St. George's of Forest Hill Anglican Church, 321 Fischer Hallman Rd. E., Kitchener on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Donald Davidson officiating.
