Obituary of Eleanor Snyder

Passed away with family by her side at Luther Village (Sunshine Centre) in Waterloo on June 7, 2016 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late F. Harry Snyder, dear mother of Cheryl White (Paul), Cynthia Snyder-Paleczny (Paul Paleczny) and Rev. Fred Snyder (Vale) and aunt of John and Judy. Loving grandmother of Cassandra Zehr (Greg), Robert Mansell (Caroline) and Jameson Bouffard (Julie Cassidy) and great-grandmother of Calvin and Mitchell Zehr. Predeceased by her parents Arthur and Eva Spracklin and her sister Fern Sloat. Eleanor was a lifelong member of Trinity United Church in Kitchener and enjoyed many years with her bridge club. She was very creative and took pleasure in such hobbies as china painting, smocking, knitting and baking. She was devoted to her family, regularly spoiling us with delicious desserts. A special thank you to all of the RPNs and PSWs at Sunshine Centre and to the CCAC palliative care team for their compassion toward our Mother. Cremation has taken place in accordance with her wishes and a family remembrance will be held.
