<h1>Dr. Andrew Riddell</h1> 1919 – 2006 Passed away peacefully, at St. Mary’s General Hospital, Kitchener, on Friday, December 29, 2006, at the age of 87 years. Andrew was a graduate of Upper Canada College and the University of Toronto and was an anaesthetist for just under 40 years. He was a charter founding member of the Kitchener Waterloo Power and Sails Squadron and a member of the Kitchener Waterloo Amateur Radio Club. Dr. Andrew was also a member of the Honey Harbor Boat Club, the Madawaska Club, and St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Kitchener. He very much enjoyed his summers sailing in Georgian Bay. Dr. Andrew is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years Mary, his sons, Bill Riddell and Drew (Evelyn) Riddell, grandchildren, Jennifer Riddell (Liam), Christa (Jason) Guckenberger, Alex G. Riddell (Nicole), Karrie (Paul) Archambault, Melissa Gruber, and Alex R. Riddell, as well as his great-grandchildren Tyler, Kalvin, Sydney, and Teah. Andrew is also survived by his sister Bea Riddell of Toronto and he was predeceased by his brother Matthew Kent Riddell. Friends are invited to share their memories of Andrew with his family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Tuesday, January 2, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 54 Queen Street North, Kitchener on Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Mark Lewis officiating. Interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau.
