Obituary of Michael Antony Bennett

On Thursday, November 17, 2016 at the Grand River Hospital at the age of 82. Dear husband of June Whalen Piitz and his first wife, late Gwenneth Bennett (Mercer). Loving father of Michael (Linda) Bennett, Geoffrey (Kirsten) Bennett, David (Jennifer) Bennett and Julie (Iain Hamilton) Bennett. Dear step-sons; Eric (Wendy) Piitz, Martin (Jackie) Piitz and Roger Piitz. Remembered by grandchildren Christian, Nathaniel, Hugo, Evie, Katie and Ben and step-grandchildren; Robert (Deirdre), Andrew (Candice), Jason, Tanya, Mark (Elise), and Derek and Rachel Piitz. Also remembered by step-great grandchildren ; Emma, Bradly and Devon Piitz. Remembered by sister Enid (Roy) Poproski and brothers-in-law Jerry (Marilyn) Mercer, Gordon (Betty) Whalen, Gerry (Brenda) Whalen and Amelia (late Robert Ray Whalen) and many nieces and nephews and many step nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2016 from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with a funeral service on Monday, November 21, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S.
