Obituary of Stanley A. Ashby

Passed away peacefully and surrounded by his family on January 27, 2017 at the age of 70. Loving husband of the late Judi (nee Lawson). Beloved father of Alysa (Harold) Kim, David (Mara) Ashby and Megan (Patrick) Luckie. Brother of John (Mary) Lawson, Michelle (Stephen) Smyth, Gary Ashby and Donald Ashby. Stan will be greatly missed by his nieces, nephews and six grandchildren Nicolas, Evelyn, Kristopher, Paige, Toby and Robert. Predeceased by his parents, John and Audrey (nee Freel) and sister Deborah. Relatives and friends are invited to share memories of Stan at a Celebration of Life service at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S. Waterloo at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 followed by a gathering in the funeral home’s Fireside Reception Room.
