Obituary of Frances Jean Selkirk

Frances was born in Petawawa Ontario on October 29, 1923 and passed away peacefully at St. Mary's Hospital on Monday February 13, 2017 at the age of 93. Loving wife of the late Russell Selkirk (1985) . Dear mother of Gail Selkirk (Nick Busigin) of Stratford and Blaine Selkirk of Waterloo. Dear Grandma of Matthew (Jillian) , Brittany and Morgan. Great Grandma of Aria Athena. Sadly missed by her sister Jean Franklin of Oakville and her sister in law Laurene of Kitchener. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and friends. Predeceased by her brothers Earl Webber, Burt Webber and her sister Betty Tennant. Frances was a valued employee as homemaker for Red Cross. Her kindness and care were healing hands to all she served. Founding member of Reformation Lutheran Church in Kitchener. Friends are invited to share their memories of Frances with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday February 17, 2017 from 10 a.m. until 12 noon. The funeral service will be held at 12 noon in the Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Shirley Ruller officiating. Reception to following in the Fireside Room with Interment at Memory Gardens Breslau.
