I have so many wonderful memories of Uncle Ken and all of the Cunninghams. Most of them were from our time spent at the cottage. We had massive games of hide and seek in the woods (nearing dusk!) surrounding Aunt Elsie and Uncle Oliver's cottage. The fun of the annual 50th birthday party with wonderful treasures collected at yard sales (thanks Aunt Donnie - I still remember how thrilled I was at the prizes you found for us). Uncle Ken loved fishing. I could always count on seeing him sitting down by the river's edge with a line in the water. One time, spying him across the river, we saw him catch a fish! And as he was pulling it off the hook, something happened to startle him and he swore out loud! "Damn!" There's a word this child rarely heard, much less in the quiet Lurgan wilderness!!! I wonder what he said when he left his catches in the waterfall overnight only to find them eaten by raccoons! Uncle Ken and the whole gang are a much loved part of my childhood and life. xoxoxoxo, Love, Elizabeth
