Obituary of Ivan Joseph Girard

Ivan passed away at his home, Sunnyside Home in Kitchener, on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the age of 66.

Ivan was the oldest child of Paquerette Girard (nee Boivin) who predeceased him in 1976 and Barth Girard who predeceased him in 2005.

Ivan will be lovingly remembered by his sisters and brothers, Julie Schwartz and husband Dave, Jeanne Girard, Charles Girard, Anita Girard, Lucie Gaudet, Anne Schell and partner Gary Rankin, Arthur Girard, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and his extended family and many friends at Sunnyside Home.

Besides his parents, Ivan was predeceased by his sister Claudette Clayfield and brothers-in-law Brian Clayfield and George Gaudet.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held in the chapel of the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 1:00 p.m.  Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Kitchener.
