I'm so thankful that I phoned Lois just a day or two before Christmas and we
had a wonderful conversation. Of course she was full of family information
and was particularly excited by some golfing planned for the coming season.
Lois has been a good friend going way back to our days at Simcoe High
School and she will be greatly missed.

Dear Crofoot Family,
We were shocked and saddened to learn of Lois's recent passing, and our sympathy goes out to all of you. After seeing Lois looking so well at a mini reunion in August, it is hard to believe that her life on earth is over.
From the time our paths first crossed at Lakeside Heights Baptist Church in Quebec, and continuing through our years of leadership and involvement within the wider Baptist family, we grew to appreciate Lois's strong leadership and wise counsel even in supporting roles.
May God grant you His peace and grace in these difficult days.

Very sad loss of a good woman, who will be dearly missed by family, and the Christian community she served with distinction.
Confident she now rests with her Lord and Saviour, her ultimate reward.

We were saddened to hear about the passing of your dear mom and grandmother. She certainly lived life to the fullest, and her example of both faith and joie de vivre is a wonderful legacy. May God give you comfort and peace. "Absent from the body, present with the Lord."

Ken and family,
I was sad to see that your mom has died. She was born the same year as mine.
It's amazing to know that they are with God and seeing the face of Jesus, but it is extraordinary difficult to let them go.
Praying for comfort and God's presence.

So sorry to hear of Lois' passing. Our paths crossed many times during my stint as CBOQ Treasurer. Bob became a good friend while serving as Finance Committee Chair for a number of years. How special it was to share the Honorary Doctorate ceremony with Lois, as MacDiv honoured both of us the same year. I always thought of Lois as a "classy lady"...well spoken, well dressed, and generous with her time and wise counsel. Our prayers are with the family during this difficult time.

Dear Linda, Bruce, Ken & families -
it's been many years, but I cherished the warm home your mum made on Randerson & the fine person she was.
As a long time friend of Linda's, and also of Cate Falconer's, I often had occasion to hear lovely stories about her devotion to family, friends, her passions & her church.
She was a wonderful lady & will be missed.

So sorry to hear of Lois's passing...she was someone we knew through our Baptist Convention and also in various churches we were part of. Her and her late husband, Bob, supported the work of both Convention and McMaster Divinity College very well and when she was President of our Convention she did a very good job of it.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family at this time.

May Lois' family radiate with joy because they have the assurance that she is present with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. While saddened by the news of Lois' passing, we rejoice because of her relationship with Jesus, and because of the way in which she had influenced many, many people. McMaster Divinity College will be forever grateful for her many years of involvement and for her service and leadership as Chair of the Board of Trustees. Lois was a dear friend and she will be missed greatly. May our gracious Lord provide all family members with His peace--the peace that passes all understanding.
(Rev.) Lionel Pye, Pastor, Campbellford Baptist Church and present Chair of the Board of Trustees, McMaster Divinity College.
