Laderoute, Andrene Lorna (nee Salmon)
Passed away peacefully at Freeport Health Centre on March 26th 2018 at the age of 72 years.
Andrene is survived by her loving husband Denis, her children Paul (Susan), Alan (Julie), her granddaughters Claire, Sally, Jane, Kate and Reese. Also survived by her sister Carolyn Fremeau (Jeff), Sister-in-law Pat Laderoute, brother-in-law Peter Sear (Kathy), nieces Jovawne (Scott), Terri (Gerry), Carolyn (Blair) and nephews Mark (Vanessa), Michael, Ben (Brian) and James.
Andrene was predeceased by her parents John and Lorna (nee Campbell) Salmon, her sister Jovawne Salmon, brother-in-law Armand Laderoute, sister-in-law Mary Sear (nee Laderoute), and brother-in-law Raymond Fremeau.
Andrene was born in Reading, England, February 3, 1946. She was raised in Manitoba, Nebraska and Bermuda. She graduated from Trinity College, U of T. Her career included working in Waterloo Region as a high school teacher of French and Spanish and later in Group Benefits at Mutual Life/Clarica. She was an avid bridge player and reader. Andrene will be remembered for her strength and courage throughout the years as she faced serious illnesses. The family wish to extend their sincere thank you to the caring staff of Freeport Health Centre.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Andrene with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, March 29, 2018 from 6-8 pm and on Friday March 30 from 10 am – 10:45 am. The funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00 am in the chapel of the funeral home. A reception will follow. Cremation will take place.
