Obituary of Doreen Rosaline Bolton
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by love and family at Barnswallow Place Care Community on March 26th, 2018 in her 97th year.
Doreen was predeceased by her loving husband Wallace Lorne (Bud) Bolton in 1972. Dear Mother of Bev (Bob-Late), Joan (Tom) and Murray (Doris). Dear Nana to Shelley, Laurie, Tracy (Richard), Leeanne (Steve), Julie (Ryan), Kyle (Blair), Tim (Julie), Melanie (Chris) and will be fondly remembered by 11 great grandchildren. Pre-deceased by her sister Neva Thomlinson of Toronto, her brothers Stanley, Clinton, George Wendorf of Hanover, and Bruce Wendorf of PEI. Nana was the last surviving Wendorf family member.
Nana enjoyed playing cards, bingo and was a stellar checker player. She was an avid follower of the Toronto Blue Jays and enjoyed a good men’s curling game. Nana loved the outdoors, going for walks, and sitting on her bench people watching. A private family celebration of life to follow cremation. Internment will take place with her husband in Hanover, Ontario.
