Obituary of Neil Fullerton Moore

Neil passed away at Innisfree House in Kitchener on Monday, April 9, 2018 at the age of 95.

Neil was predeceased by his beloved wife of 71 years, Lois Isobel (nee Pauli) on January 6, 2018.  Neil is survived by his children, Wayne Moore and his wife Ann, Charlie Moore, Ralph Moore and his wife Linda, and Dianne Fine and her husband David.  Lovingly remembered by nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.  Dear brother of Keith Moore and brother-in-law of Betty Pauli.

Predeceased by his parents James Henry Moore and Gertrude Myrtle McCombe, brothers Ross, Norman and Grant, brothers-in-law Kenneth and Keith Pauli, and sisters-in-law Mary Moore, Pearle Moore, Marion Moore, Rose Moore, and Doris Allen and her husband Lance.

Neil served his country as a pilot in the RCAF.  He was a charter member of Mount Zion Lutheran Church in Waterloo and a charter member of the New Dundee Golf and Country Club.  At 95, Neil had the spunk and energy of a 30-year-old; he lived independently and drove up to four weeks ago.  Family was very important to Neil and he will be remembered as an exceptionally devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend.

The Moore family will receive relatives and friends at Mount Zion Lutheran Church, 29 Westmount Rd. S., Waterloo on Saturday, April 14, 2018 from 10 – 10:45 a.m.  The memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. with a reception immediately following in the church hall.  A private family interment will be held at Avondale Cemetery, Stratford at a later date.
