Obituary of Elsie Mae Dunn

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener at the age of 87. Elsie was born in Wellesley Township, the daughter of the late Lorne and Catherine Bigam.

She is survived by her children Randy Koebel (Trish), Tammi Piotrowski (Rick), Brad Koebel (Connie) and Tricia Smith (Bill). Cherished Grandma to Brent, Ryan and Sara Koebel, Jeffrey and Jamie Koebel, Jason, Daniel and Tiffany Piotrowski, Nina and Adam Koebel and Alyssa and Lianne Smith. She was beloved Great Grandma to Taylor and Devlin. Also remembered by her brothers Gordon Bigam and Ronald Bigam.

Predeceased by her husbands Oscar Koebel (1971) and Arthur Dunn (1993) and her sons Richard (1992) and Daryl (1968). Also predeceased by her brothers Russel Bigam and James Bigam.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Lanark Village who took such great care of Elsie during her stay there and all the doctors and nurses at St. Mary’s Hospital.

A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Monday, May 14 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the Fireside Reception room of the funeral home. Cremation has taken place and the family will hold a private committal service.
