Feil, Lily Sophia (nee) Doepel

1923 - 2018

 

It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Lily Feil on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at the age of 94 years.

 

Lily was the loving wife of the late Clayton Feil (2004) for 48 years. Cherished mother of Christine Shelkey of Wiarton & Alan Feil and his wife Tatijana of Kingsville, ON. Devoted grandmother of Victoria Shelkey, Aaron Feil, Tanya and Tony Skafar. Great Grandmother of Marcus, Mitchell & Capriya. Predeceased by her parents Edgar and Christina (Derbecker) Doepel, mother & father-in-law Nelson & Helma (Gies) Feil, sister-in-laws Doris Feil and Ethel Feil, her nephew Glen Coyle , brother-in-laws Russel Feil, Arthur Feil, Clayton (Bob) Pries, Lyman Coyle and son-in-law Brian Shelkey. Survived by sister-in-laws Beatrice Pries, and Florence Coyle . Fondly remembered by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

 

Friends are invited to share their memories of Lily with her family during visitation at the Calvary United Church, 48 Hawksville Rd., St. Jacobs, ON.  on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The funeral service will follow in the sanctuary of the church at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Calvary United Church Cemetery, St. Jacobs. The family invites you to a reception to be held in the church afterward.
