Obituary of Margaret Jean Litwiller

We are saddened to announce the peaceful passing of Margaret Jean Litwiller (nee Cronkhite) in the arms of her loving family, she was able to celebrate her 77^th birthday 11 days prior.  She fought a courageous battle with ovarian cancer for 7 years. Loving wife of Ronald of 58 years on June 18^th, 3 cherished daughters Bev Harvey (John Blacker), Nancy Zolnai (Bill), and Jody Bitton (Gary), 5 grandchildren Jen, Travis, Jeremy, Jessica and Jamie; 5 great-grandchildren Ayden, Mckayla, Dominic, Mayson and Alexander.  Remembered by her sister Joan Lacey (Joe deceased).

Predeceased by her parents Francis and Ethel Cronkhite, and mother and father-in-law Wilbert and Gladys Litwiller.

Margaret’s compassion in life was being a seamstress, along with being a devoted Mom to her family.  Was a longtime member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, she loved to quilt, crochet, and volunteered many, many hours.

Friends are invited to share their memories of Margaret with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday May 23, 2018 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 78 John St. W., Waterloo on Thursday May 24, 2018 at 11 a.m., with Rev. Joel Kuhl officiating. Reception to immediately follow in the church hall.  Interment Memory Gardens, Breslau.
