Obituary of Mary Lou Schultz
Unexpectedly at Victoria Hospital, London Health Sciences, London on Saturday June 2, 2018, age 73.
Predeceased by her parents Dorothy and Walter and brother Gerard.
Dear sister-in-law of Brenda Schultz. Cherished aunt of Carolyn Parkes (Ben), and Emily Roadhouse (Ken); loving great-aunt of Eleanor and Violet Parkes and Davis, Logan, Quinn & Baby Roadhouse. Will be sadly missed by many cousins and their families.
During her 34 years of teaching with the Waterloo District Catholic School Board, Mary Lou touched the lives of hundreds of young people and took great pride in their success. A teacher at heart, she took great joy in sharing her love of reading, writing and handicrafts with her nieces and their children. Since her retirement Mary Lou devoted her many talents and countless hours to Project Linus and the Prayer Shawl Ministry. She was a member of St. John’s RC Church, CWL for 50 years.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Mary Lou with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Wednesday June 6, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers will be held at 9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Agnes RC Church, 75 Bluevale Street, North, Waterloo on Thursday June 7, 2018 at 10:30 a.m., with Father Aleksander Mazur as Celebrant. Interment to follow the mass at Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener. Reception will be held in the parish hall.
