Obituary of Yousif Ablahad Yousif Mansour
Yousif Ablahad Yousif Mansour, 69, passed June 15, 2018 at his Cambridge home with family by his side.
Yousif was born on June 14, 1949 in Sinjar, Iraq. Among many things, Yousif was a doctor, professor of Veterinary medicine, grandfather, loving husband to the late Kifah Algudady and father of four.
He bravely fled a war torn country to provide a better life for his family. His kind spirit, wisdom, compassion and tales of past travels will be missed by all. He is survived by his three sons; Marwan and his wife Shatha, Faris and his wife Laura, Karam and his wife Alyssa, and his daughter; May and her husband Ray and his grandchildren, Mila, Rosalyn, Anthony and Grace.
He will be missed by his brothers Murad and Nabil, his sisters Nabeela, Ebitisam, Nada and Wedad and his many cousins, nieces, nephews, colleagues and friends.
A visitation will be held today, Monday, June 18th at 9:30a.m. at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home 171 King St. S., Waterloo.
The Funeral Mass will follow at 11am at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, 240 Hemlock St., Waterloo to celebrate his life.
Interment will follow in Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo

He now joins his wife Kifah, his parents Ablahad and Maren in heaven. His last words to us was to “be good.”
