I send my loving thoughts and condolences to Marie’s family and friends. As Diane’s aunt, I had the pleasure of getting to know Marie at many family gatherings such as Christmas, birthdays and weddings. She always made my husband and I feel like part of her family too. I admired her spirit and her zest for life. In particular, I remember her love of gardening and the full cupboard of preserves (especially her well guarded famous pickles). I loved to hear her stories about the old days, her travels and her love of dancing. Marie had a full life surrounded by her family and friends. I shall remember her with great fondness in my heart.
