I first met David in 1947 after our repatriation from Japan after WWII. He was tall, a Sea Cadet, and had a wonderful bicycle. Taken in Grandma and Grandpa's house at 8 Dagmar Grove, Mapperley, Nottingham. Gunther, Irene, David and Robert I met David again and his wife Patricia in Vancouver in August 2002. My family met him and my son Tony is shown. We had a wonderful evening together. By this time we were in the same country once more!
