Alan Henderson

Obituary of Alan Henderson

Alan was a very kind man who dearly loved all of his family.

He is fondly remembered by his daughter Debbie and husband Frank Schleicher and loving grandchildren Jakob and Ashley.

He left behind his siblings, brother Donald Henderson and wife Eve, sister Suzanne Erwin and husband Bob, sister Judy Henderson and husband Patrick Fuhrman, and brother Doug Henderson.  His nieces and nephews, Cheryl, Debbie, Jeff, Rod, Don, Jennifer and Kevin will miss him dearly.

He was predeceased by his parents Roderick and Muriel Henderson and eldest brother George Henderson.

We are grateful to his team of doctors and nurses from the ICU at Grand River Hospital; they took wonderful care of him.

Many thanks to his close friends who helped him through these difficult times with any needs and problems that he could not handle on his own.  You have all been so supportive.

A very special thanks to his loving sister Judy whom Alan referred to as his guardian angel; she was relentless to meet every need he had.  She would do anything he asked and more.

Alan tried to keep family gatherings going on and made that one of his missions when his parents were gone.

Goodbye dear brother, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend.

He was loved...he was kind...he will forever be in our minds.
